Customs and traditions are an important part of people’s life. People get them from previous generations. Also, they vary from one geographical region to another. In the Arab World, Customs and traditions are fairly similar. This is especially in villages.

The focus of our articles is Yemen. However, some will explain the difference in traditional aspects in other Arab countries.  Also, we will show the percentage of differences.

Wedding parties in Yemen are in many ways similar to those in gulf state. As we move toward North Africa, the differences become greater. Likewise, clothing in Yemen and Oman are fairly similar. As we move north, the difference becomes clearer. Other traditional aspects differ in much the same way.

While some Arabs eat on tables, many prefer to sit on the floor. In some countries, men and women mingle in parties. In others, they party separate spaces. Death rites also differ from country to country.
